FRANCESCO GUCCINI - FANTONI CESIRA

FRANCESCO GUCCINI - FANTONI CESIRA
She, Her name was Fantoni Cesira
she was the daughter of a drunkard
who had not a single penny
and he lost everything because of wine:
job and family, daughter and wife,
but his wife could not forget by drinking
because she was teetotaller, her miser fortune
she shot herself in 1953

poor young girl, she got motherless while her father got drunk
she found a work in a factory, and while working she sometimes dreamed
she dreamed of yachts, furs and clothes, no more factory but villas and swimming pools
a sweet life, the beautiful world of princes, just like the stars of cinema

that dream would have just been an unrealized dream
but in her village, a great party was organized in the Saint holiday ,
there were music, songs and happiness, dances and confetti, ice wine and voices
then at midnight, an important jury appointed Cesira Fantoni "Miss Boobs"

they weared her with scarlet silk tapes and bands
there was a written with golden letters "always long live the milky cows!"
they gave her thirty carnations, a gold bronze "necessaire" for travel
four discounted tickets for cinema, five free bottle of shampoo

the same evening a distinguished man introduced himself to Fantoni Cesira
he said: "excuse me, your face attracts me, i am a producer
if you agree, i go together with you, in making movies we can gain a lot of money
but that evening the producer was not interested in cinema

the good young girl agreed to lose her chastity in order to join cinema
but she didn't get discouraged for this, she wanted to join "Cinecittà"
she deserted her boyriend and dismissed from her work
she bought a topless to show off her breast
she got her father hospitalized and went Rome in the first train

She joined one hundred rooms and ten beds
a member of parliament supporting her made her join.... a comic novel!
she was the lover of three , four blacks, two assistants and three cardinals
she undressed herself on the Trevi fountain, and during the night she walked on streets

the smart young girl gained enough, but she felt the call of the art
she would have given away everything just to get a part in a film
she had sex with three prducers, she studied diction, bel canto, direction
mimicry, stage presence, acting, and she appeared naked in a movie with Goliath

she found stability, Fantoni Cesira
relying on sex and on her breasts, she gains millions
she's now studying as a noble lady, now her name is "Cesy Phantoni" (written with "Ph")
now she's stable, she's the lover of a very famous producer
he will produce three or four movies for her, and he will write for her a best-seller

he was already married, but this crap is not important when you have got much money
they will marry in Mexico very soon, they could raise many children
and nowadays the moral of this story is not that starnge
in order to get money, fame and glory, you must be a bit bitch.

FRANCESCO GUCCINI - FANTONI CESIRA

ci furon musiche, canti e allegria, danze e coriandoli, spumante e suoni,

RINO GAETANO - AHI MARY

RINO GAETANO - AHI MARY
And when the sun goes down
a love song
from Bahia to Salvador
ahi Mary, i will sing for you

since you have gone away
since you're not here anymore
since i don't eat overcooked pasta anymore
ahi Mary, I really miss you

the morning i get up late and i sleep whenever i want
two blonde women wearing tutu bring me the breakfast
ahi! Mary, i really miss you

at night i go dancing to forget my dreams
recently i have got more women than dj
ahi! Mary, but you're not here

and this strange taste, made of freedom
it says something is changed in me
ahi! Mary, you're no more with me

And when the sun goes down
a love song
from Bahia to Salvador
ahi Mary, i will sing for you
La la la la la la...
Ahi Maria, por ti cantaré

Water makes me feel a little bad
beer swells my tummy a bit
i sadly just keep on drinking champagne and eating bonbons
ahi! Mary, I miss your love

My black caiman, while crying entrusted to me
that he didn't approve the underground project
ahi! Mary, i will come back to you

Himalaya was too far, there is no lift
but the old wise indian has foretold that
ahi! Mary, you will come back to me

Although i have more money in my pocket
and i have got too many women
Although i don't go out with your dog anymore
ahi! Mary, i really miss you

And when the sun goes down
a love song
from Bahia to Salvador
ahi Mary, i will sing for you
La la la la la la...
Ahi Maria, por ti cantaré

once there was a woman in Bahia
she got drunk by getting bored and drinking sake
under an old sequoia
she danced the samba and sang for me
a radio showman rehearsed his show inside a wardrobe
he took a serialized quiz
and he stood there all the summer
the absentminded caiman imitateted the cat
so he said woof woof
because he studied languages and wanted his tea at 5 o'clock
an old fakir told me "you are not an emir wearing a gilet"
he trickless suggested me to drink petrol at 3 o'clock...

RINO GAETANO - AHI MARIA
mi dice che oggi qualcosa è cambiato in me
vado avanti tristemente a champagne e bon-bon
ahi Maria ritorni da me.

[spoken]
1)I hope these "pulentun" (derogatory term addressing to "north italian people") will begin to treat me as a person, and not as an immigrant! and i hope to find cigarettes on the motorboat. but what am i doing here? i am starving! Maybe now i eat a mussels salad"

2) I love to stay in the underground, because i can meet many beautiful people, i can watch girls..

3) Damn! I would really like to have enough energy to reach a good life quality like other people

4) i wonder i can solve this my speech impediment, all people fool me around

5)i want to be like Zorro, i want to be like Zorro, Zorro, Zorro, Zoro
could i ever be up to Zorro?

Disco music, disco music, i like you very much because
you make every one dance, and sometimes you make me dance, too
with flared pants i will engage in Travolta-style performances

Disco music, disco music, you are very exciting, Disco music
i love you, then i hate you, then i love you, then i hate you, then i appreciate you
and i sing "Please, don't let me be misunderstood", while i park my Alfa Sud in the car park
and i rush to the dance floor because it's about to break through

Disco music, the one of '70s
with the typically driving rhythm from loudpeakers, rocking and charleston
you, if you see i am sit alone
you know, i am just waiting dance music, dance music,
you can see the dj's playing it!

Disco music, disco music
with your loud voice you destroy my car radio
in my car i have got a hi-fi, i bought it for thousands euros and i am proud of this
i cannot understand all this rock'n'roll
i cannot understand "la-si-do-re-mi-fa-sol"
i don't understand, i don't understand, i don't understand
so i dance with disco music, long live the disco music

with the typically driving rhythm from loudspeakers, rocking and charleston
you, if you see i am sit happy,
you know i appreciate the dance music, dance music, dance music
i am finally understanding the dance music
after a while, with my crazy friends
we are going to swallow some pills to be fresh during the happy hour
In conclusion, i really feel happy but it's an illusory feeling
disappearing as time pass by
So strange!

ELIO E LE STORIE TESE - DISCO MUSIC
Discomusic discomusic,
tu mi piaci così tanto perché
fai ballare tutti quanti
ed alle volte fai ballare anche me.
Coi pantaloni scampanati danzerò
balletti degni del migliore John Travolta.

Disco music disco music,
tu sei molto coinvolgente, disco music.
Io ti amo poi ti odio
poi ti amo poi ti odio e poi ti apprezzo,
e canto: "Please don't let me be misunderstood"
mentre parcheggio nel parcheggio l'Alfasud,
e mi precipito già in pista
perché sta per cominciare la discomusic,
quella degli anni settanta,
col tipico ritmo incalzante
di cassa, rullante e charleston.
E tu, se mi vedi seduto in this party

Disco disco, dance disco,
disco, discomusic, dance, uh!

Discomusic discomusic,
io non capisco la si do re mi fa sol;
io non capisco, non capisco, non capisco
e allora ballo la discomusic.
Evviva la disco music,
col tipico ritmo incalzante
all'after hour.

In sinto. Mi sento felice,
ma è una sensazione illusoria
che poi col tempo svanisce.
Che storia!
Che storia. Che storia.
Che storia. Dance uh! Che storia.
Che storia. Che storia.
Che storia. Dance uh! Che storia.
Che storia. Che storia.
Che storia. Dance uh! Che storia.
Che storia. Che storia.
Che storia. Dance uh! Che storia.
Disco, dance, disco!
Discomusic! Uuuuh!
Sssssssh!

FRANCESCO GUCCINI - DON CHISCIOTTE

DON CHISCIOTTE – F.GUCCINI
[Don Chisciotte]
I have read thousands stories about wandering knights
About ventures and wins of good people against bossy
To stay secluded in this room with my books
Like a lazy vile, deaf to every kind of human sufferings
Today more than yesterday, injustice reigns on the world
But there are no more news about heroic knights
This is the reason why, Sancho,
we need a wholehearted upsurge, even though it’s a mad dream:
Go and bring me the saddle, because my fearless obligation,
i promised my loved, Dulcinea del Toboso,
and i promise you, Sancho, you will receive a castle,
but i can’t accept your refusal. Get on, saddle my horse!
You will be my squire, my comfortable shadow,
and with this your pure heart, with my shield and Ronzinante,
every day and night i will hit injustice with my spear,
this is true as well as my name is Don Chisciotte of Mancha,

[Sancho Panza]
This madman is crazy, he needs a doctor
Confuting him is not worthy, ‘cause he’s never in a good mood
He’s the miserest man ever appeared on earth, fearless knight in a lonely war
A war which began for love of a woman he met in a hourly inn, where she works as a whore,
but since he believed he saw a real princess,
he wanted take that promise at any cost
So, since many days we get just kicks on our buttocks,
We don’t know where we are, we have no bread and no water,
and this wild and crazy man, he’s more naive than children,
yesterday he ran into the blades of some windmills
He’s a stubborn, an idealist, too many dreams in his brain,
I am more realist than him, for me a castle is enough,
He will appoint me governor, and i’ll get plenty of lands,
this is true as well as i’ve got a heart too, and my name is Sancho Panza

[Don Chisciotte]
Get up, Sancho, it’s late, would you really keep on sleeping, just the cynical and the vile do not wake up at dawn:
the former because indifference and despise of values
the latter because they are reluctant to duties
injustice is not the only evil eating the world away
the man’s soul often hit bottom, too
but we have to be quick because as the time is elapsing,
the enemy changes into a shadow and everything gets more complicated

[Sancho Panza]
By the way, talking about this “getting shadow” of things,
some days ago, when he saw those helpless sheeps,
he charged them thinking they were an Arabian army,
But at the end both dogs and herdsmen bit us
It was clear like a day, isn’t it true, my Lord?
Maybe i am a vile and i sleep, but i am not a traitor
I just believe to what i can see and the reality remains the only one criterion i have,
this is true as well as now i am hungry!

[Don Chisciotte]
Sancho, listen to me, please, i have been a realist too
But now i don’t care, although my eyesight is good,
appearance of things does not cheat me anymore, like you can see
I prefer the surprises of this tyrannical soul
Which changes the reality before your eyes through its tricks
But it opens your new eyes and stimulates your feelings
Before of today i got bored and i wanted to die,
but now i am a new man who’s not afraid to suffer

[Sancho Panza]
My Lord, unluckily, i am a poor ignorant,
and i haven’t understood anything of your unconcrete speech
But as far as braveness erases my laziness
Could we ever, we two people, bring back justice in the world?
In a world where evil dominates and is always winning
Where the “Capital” reigns, today even more mercilessly
With this nag and that useless squire,
could he win over the “power” and save the whole world?

[Don Chisciotte]
Won't you tell me, dear Sancho, i should throw the sponge
Because evil and power have a so dark appearance?
Should i give up a little dignity,
Get humble and accept this will be our reality?

[Together]
Power is the crap of human history
Even though we are just two romantic pieces of junk,
We will spit our hearts on the face of injustice every day and night
We are the greats of Mancha, Sancho Panza and Don Chisciotte

FRANCESCO GUCCINI - DON CHISCIOTTE

[ Don Chisciotte ]

ma di eroici cavalieri non abbiamo più notizia;

Mi farà Governatore e avrò terre in abbondanza,

sputeremo il cuore in faccia all'ingiustizia giorno e notte:
siamo i "Grandi della Mancha",
Sancho Panza... e Don Chisciotte !

NEW TROLLS - OK (FIAMME SUL PACIFICO)

NEW TROLLS  -
OK (BLAZES ON THE PACIFIC OCEAN)
Warner Bros Pictures presents
"Blazes on the Pacific Ocean"
A movie, a great movie
New York Times has defined it a “milestone” of cinema
500 great actors, 130000 walkers-on,
an unequaled productive effort,
terrorism, passion, death, ...

Blazes on the Pacific ocean (peanuts and chewing-gums)
From a novel of the same name (no entry for special cards)
Stereophonic sound (but we have to hustle)
Panoramic screen
One hundred aircraft carriers (there is an empty seat)
Marines are charging enemies (no, I’ve seen it before)
Little japanese soldiers (I can’t see anything)
They are very pissed off (I hate this cinema)

A special thank to the Hawaii islands authorities
We dedicate this to the unbeaten heroes
With Gregory Peck, Montgomery Clift, Deborah Keer
And with John Wayne

7 degrees north, there are three submarines
“Sailor Smith, go to the engine room!”
“I have a mother in Nevada, you go to there!”
“it’s a command!” “at your command, ok!”

Here, I am pilot Smith, I have lost the propeller
Behind me, three banzai shoot towards me
Here, in the base, almost everyone of us bets you can win
“Oh, wonderful! Rely on me! Ok!”

In the quiet Nevada, there’s a mummy who prepares
Apple tart for her three sons
Today is Sunday, we set the table
And she talks with three empty seats
And says: “sons, my soldiers, be brave and be heroes!
And do not rely on Hawaii women!"

In Borneo jungle
He wanders about for three days and he just eats chewing-gums
He’s the soldier Smith, he’s the soldier Smith
Japanese soldiers trap him
He’s got three daggers thrust in his liver
But this is not a problem for the soldier Smith

Here, I  am soldier Smith, I’m calling mr glow-worm
The enemies are 106, but I have just three munitions
“be careful to shoot, do not waste other munitions!”
If it’s a command, at your command! Ok!”

Kind Mrs Smith
From the White House I am writing to you
I am honoured to tell you
That I will give you a golden medal
For everyone of your three sons
In this movie, too

NEW TROLLS - OK (FIAMME SUL PACIFICO)
Fiamme sul pacifico
Dal romanzo omonimo
Schermo panoramico
Suono stereofonico
Cento portaerei
I marines attaccano
Musi gialli e piccoli
Tutti incazzatissimi
Noccioline e chewing-gum
Niente ingresso tessera
Qui ci tocca spingere
Spiccioli alla maschera
Là c'è un posto libero
No l'ho visto prima io
Non si vede un cavolo
Odio questo cinema

Ringraziamo le autorità delle isole Haway
Dedichiamo agli invincibili eroi
Con Gregory Peck, Montgomery Clift, Deborah Keer
E con John Wayne

Sette gradi a nord tre sommergibili
Marinaio Smith in sala macchine
Agli ordini OK

Qui pilota Smith ho perso un'elica
Ho in coda tre banzai che mi mitragliano

MODENA CITY RAMBLERS - DEATH OF A POET
If i should fall in the abyss of hell, in a river as black as ink
lost, rolling down through rubbish bags in a chasm, so there's no turning back
if i should disappear in the depths of the earth
but it's the same old story and no one will understand

so let me here alone, staring at my part of sky and trying to erase bad memories
in New York streets the poet is alone and no one will save him

in the district 19, life is so quick through palaces and boulevards in Paris
emigrants dance on gypsy rhythms  while drinking green and black spirits
the toothless man tailed foreign girls with thin hats and clothes
but it's the same old story and no one will understand

so let me here alone, staring at my part of sky and trying to erase bad memories
in Paris streets the poet is alone and no one will save him

old and dirty Dublin, for a son coming back home
you are a mother waiting for the sundown
with alchol stink, kisses and songs for people who had been imprisoned far away
there's a bomb and a gun, an English to shoot down
and a uniform of the green irish army

so let me here alone, staring at my part of sky and trying to erase bad memories
in Dublin streets the poet is alone and no one will save him
